Kipp moved to Camp Hill, PA in October 2004 from his small hometown in western PA and took a staff position working with children and youth in a very mixed suburban culture. That move proved to be a great learning and ministry experience for him, his wife Dixie and their three children: Alyssa, Jenna, and Levi. It was during those 4 years that God would begin to shape the entire family to a new calling, church planting. With the help of his family and a few core families, Kipp helped create Life House in April of 2009. The Lord blessed that small church start-up moving it from a small party room in an arcade, to a second story skating rink, and eventually to the current location they call home. Kipp’s vision for Life House is to be a vibrant, growing church with a heart to help the hurting of their community and raise up strong believing families for the cause of Jesus. Kipp’s greatest joys in life are knowing Jesus, being a husband, dad, and grandfather, and driving his truck to do anything outdoors.
Jenna grew up in a small town in western PA where she felt a strong call to ministry at the early age of 12 years old. Jenna loves the organization, structure, and leadership training in her role at Life House. Though she thrives on order, being silly and spontaneous with her friends and family is her favorite pastime. Jenna was and continues to be heavily encouraged and influenced by the multiple pastors and Leaders in her family. Through many internships, life lessons, and various serving opportunities Jenna found that her love for serving God and People could not fit into one neat box (though her need for order and structure would prefer it.) She found that sometimes God opens doors in the last place we would expect it. One of those doors turned out to be starting a ministry with her husband, Brad, called Redeeming Love. Redeeming Love is a local ministry for women who have been sexually exploited and trafficked in Carlisle and the surrounding areas. Jenna believes that the redeeming love of Christ is available for every person, in every walk of life.
Dixie grew up in western PA where she began working in kids ministry in her early teenage years. She is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with families. She believes a God centered family is the key to strong families. Strong families lead to strong churches and that is the key to reaching the lost and changing the world. She grew up in the small town of Windber, PA where she met the love of her life, our very own Pastor Kipp. She and Kipp have been married for 28 years. Dixie’s family is the most important aspect of her life. She and Kipp are parents to Alyssa, Jenna & Levi and Popi & Mimi to their grandson Kipp Cameron. Family time is one of her most treasured values. Dixie is also a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and has always wanted to appear on Wheel of Fortune as a contestant!
