OUTREACH

At Life House, we firmly believe in taking our resources and blessing those outside of our four walls to reach those far from Christ. Jesus sent his disciples out with whats know as the great commission.

Matthew 28:19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

As Jesus sent his disciples, we too answer this call, reaching out into our community, the country and the world!

Text reading "CASA SHALOM" filled with colorful textile patterns and woven designs.

Casa Shalom is a Christ-centered children’s home in Guatemala providing a safe, loving environment for children who have experienced abandonment, abuse, neglect, or difficult family circumstances. Since 1986, Casa Shalom has been committed to caring for the whole child; providing a home, education, nutritious meals, medical care, spiritual guidance, and most importantly, the love and hope of Jesus.

Life House Church is honored to partner with Casa Shalom through missions trips, construction and maintenance projects, financial support, and time spent building relationships with the children. Whether we're working on a roof, completing a project, playing games with the kids, or simply spending time together, our goal is to come alongside the Casa Shalom family and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

We believe missions is more than going somewhere—it’s loving people, meeting needs, and making a lasting Kingdom impact.

Tangier Island Missions

A black and white logo with a stylized rocket ship and the words "LAUNCHPAD" underneath.

Launch Pad supports the transition to successful adulthood for young adults who are aging out of care or facing homelessness.  We provide safe housing and empower youth to engage in employment, educational/vocational training. We provide evidence-based solutions that make a softer landing for young adults.

Located in the Chesapeake Bay, Tangier Island is a historic watermen’s community first visited by Captain John Smith in 1608 and permanently settled in the late 1700s. For generations, island families have built their lives around crabbing, fishing, and the waters of the Chesapeake. Today, this close-knit community is home to approximately 436 residents, according to the 2020 U.S. Census.

Our Tangier Island mission trips give us the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to this unique community. Our teams assist residents with practical projects, visit and encourage shut-ins, and serve wherever help is needed. Through every repair, conversation, prayer, and act of kindness, our desire is to help the entire island experience the love and hope of Jesus.

Andrew and Liz serve as campus leadership for InterVarsity right here in Carlisle at Dickinson College. Please pray for the build up leaders and disciples of Jesus.

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

Oceania is comprised of fourteen countries and is located throughout the Central and South Pacific Oceans. This geographical area is a vast and diverse region surrounded by the world's largest body of water. While this vast region of the world is known for its beauty, natural resources, and the large body of water that divides it, there are substantial needs in the areas of Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand. Through YWEA 2024, Church of God Youth and Discipleship, in partnership with Church of God World Missions, has developed a plan to provide this region with eternal Living Water that will have a multi-generational impact to reach the Last, the Least, and the Lost.
